Ford and Polina Vlasenko look at the impact of the Federal Reserve's monetary stimulus initiates and ask if the programs may have actually had a negative impact of employment. They argue that the lower interest rates as a result of the initiative have a negative impact on the income of retirees, who in turn spend less.
